Title: Incarceron
Author: Catherine Fisher
Publisher/Year: Dial/2010
Incarceron is a prison so vast that it contains not only cells, but also metal forests, dilapidated cities, and vast wilderness. Finn, a seventeen-year-old prisoner, has no memory of his childhood and is sure that he came from Outside Incarceron. Very few prisoners believe that there is an Outside, however, which makes escape seems impossible.
And then Finn finds a crystal key that allows him to communicate with a girl named Claudia. She claims to live Outside- she is the daughter of the Warden of Incarceron, and doomed to an arranged marriage. Finn is determined to escape the prison, and Claudia believes she can help him. But they don't realize that there is more to Incarceron than meets the eye. Escape will take their greatest courage and cost more than they know.

I'm not even going to lie. Haha. The cover drew me in from the get go. I love keys and gears and it was somewhat steampunkish for me, so I grabbed it. It wasn't until I got home that I actually looked at the summary. What can I say? It was in clearance for $1.00. I am, however, glad I bought it. It looks very intriguing and not quite like the books I would usually pick up. So mark one for me stepping out of my box! I also enjoy the chapter markers in the book. I had to flip through it right before I started writing this post. :D I'm pretty excited for it! Can't wait to read and review!
Make sure to link up and share your Wishlist Wednesday!
That is a great cover. It sounds like a good book. I hope you get it soon!
